Guest guest Posted February 18, 2004 Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 After reading message # 22 !, (I hope you feel better, Kay !) i am not going to care if they decide to put off my surgery for another month due to this nagging dry chest cough, which is STILL hanging on !!!! I got the cold Feb. 1, ...but the chest cough started around the 10th. I ordered 'Mesosilver', online, which is a natural antibiotic, without the side effects of antibiotics, and is supposed to knock out a cough/cold, including pneumonia ! within hours or days. It's supposed to kill both bacteria AND viruses. Antibiotics only kill bacteria. I am also seeing a 'regular' doctor tomorrow to see what she says, and for tests. I just got a remedy from my homeopath, but unfortunately it did not work. I might have antidoted it by using bath salts containing eucalyptus. !!! I am NOT going to risk getting pneumonia or something serious in the hospital by going into surgery with this cough. I won't be making the final decision anyway. My doc. will. I'm pretty nervous about it now, especially hearing from a woman who got pneumonia in the hospital after going into surgery with a sore throat.
