Hi I'm new and a bit scared

Hi All-

I am new to the group. I am 31 years old and was

diagnosed with fibroids about 2 years ago. After

spending the last two years being told not to worry

about it I was given birth control pills(even though I

told the gyn's about my heavy heavy bleeding). I

never took these pills and have suffered with the

tiredness and the puffy stomach for the last year. I

decided to up the ante again. I saw yet another gyno

last week who told me she was going to send me to do

an ultrasound, do a blood test and a biopsy before she

proceeded with me. Anyway I found out that the

results of the blood test were in and that I am

supposed to have my endometrial biopsy done on my next

visit (this Monday). She never told me that she was

going to do the biopsy on this next visit so I don't

know what I would be getting myself into. This test

freaks me out (catheter scraping the wall of the

uterus). Here is my question has anyone ever had this

done? were there any post complication/symptoms

afterwards, and should I be concerned that the gyn

left this out?
