Hi ladies,

I have been keeping up with everyone since my myo on September 15,

2003 and also lurking on the group and posting whenever I could help

out with questions. Now I have a question......

I had my post op ultrasound done about a week ago and my doctor

called and just said " everything looks normal " Well, being who I am

I wanted to see the report. So today I got a copy and it of course

makes no sense to me??? I might be paranoid and be trying to read

between the lines here but I was hoping someone could help me out

here and maybe define some of the " big words " for me. It seems like

the doctor thinks " everything is just fine " is good enough. I am ttc

and I am terrified because last time I had a m/c due to so many

fibroids. Now they are gone thank God. But the fear still exists.

Here is what the report said:

There is evidence of prior myomectomies since the study of 6/5/03

(that was the last ultrasound when I had 6 large fibroids) The

myometrial echo texture remains heterojeneous (what??) for the more

discrete myometrial mass within the lower uterine segment compatible

with uterin leiomyomas.

No adnexal (???) masses are identified

There is a small amount of fluid within the endocervical canal.

(does that sound normal??))

Thanks for listening and any insight,
