Why the hysterectomy route so often?

As I continue to read all the postings and thank my stars everyday

for this site, and for the knowledge, in many respects, the postings

have provided me, I continue to be puzzled about the following:

Besides the fact that a disproportionate number of doctors suggests

hyst as the singlularly #1 choice for us: is it because doctors are

taking the easy way out? or are too lazy? or uninformed? or

unskilled?

Or is there some financial benefits involved when they perform

hyst?

My sarcastic side: Or are they just so concerned about our health

and wish to ease our pain asap, so hyst is the only choice for us?

Anyone on this site know of an enlightened doctor for fibriobs in

Arizona. I'm have my 3rd and 4th consult next week?

Seriously, if anyone can provide suggestions or answers to each of

these questions, I'll appreciate it very much
