At last !! Date set for hyst

I know, I know, you're gonna say " Hey, you should'nt get a hyst " .

But with the size and location of my fibroids (1 is know of being

8x10 cm, the other one, bigger), removing the fibroids only would

leave my uterus almost impossible to repair.

Date is set to June 10th and I have had 1st Depo-Lupron injection.

Will get 3 before hyst, hoping reducing the size of fibroids will

help make a clean cut job. The thing is, it is suspected I have

endometriosis too, so with Lupron, it will help get rid of it too.

Anyhow, I'm happy that all is settled and decided with. I can now

think of something else, since this decision was all I was thinking

of for the past 2 weeks.

I will have to work hard at my job, being on a important project and

now planning to be away for 10 weeks this summer (this kinda sounds

nice ...). I feel a bit like I'm leaving my team down. Anyhow, my

team leader says it's all ok and not to worry (his wife went thru a

big operation too and she was off work for about the same time, so I

guess he knows a bit what it's like).

So, can't wait ... I want all this to be over and done with.
