Oh, as an addendum to my earlier post:

The surgeon I saw yesterday said that he is going to be part of clinical

trials, probably happening later this year, for a new kind of clamp device

that will potentially be used much like the pellets in UAE/UFE for

treatment/shrinkage of fibroids. Same basic idea = use the clamp to deprive

the fibroid of blood supply. He didn't really have an ETA on its potential

arrival on the market.

Just thought some of you would like to know.
