I have another question ladies. In January 29, 2004 I had an

transvaginal ultrasound it showed 2 fibroids and 1 ovarain cyst.

They said it was just a follicular cysts and would go away on it's

own. I am still having pain and the doctor is doing another

ultrasound to recheck the ovary. The nurse will not answer me when I

asked my question. So let me ask you all, since the last ultrasounds

just shows a follicular cyst (done 5-6 weeks ago) and found nothing

else wrong with the ovary. Am I correct in assuming that chances are

it's just another or the same follicular cyst? Should I worry it's

cancer? I am scared and she will answer me.

Did your doctor say that the cyst was the cause of your pain

following the first ultrasound? Is the pain you're having in the

region of your ovary? It very well could be that the first

follicular cyst has not resolved (gone away) yet and that it is

causing you some discomfort. It's also possible that your fibroids

are causing your pain. Did your doctor tell you where your fibroids

are located, and how big they are?

I really don't think you have to worry about cancer developing in the

5-6 weeks since your last ultrasound.
