Guest guest
Dear Jeanne, Oh, such good news for you! I'm so glad that the ladies here recommended wonderful Dr. Glassner to you. He sounds like a caring and accomplished physician. And to think you could have been undergoing a hysterectomy all for not. I know that feeling of relief, let me tell you! Oh, I do hope your resection gives you the desired results as mine did. You don't have to suffer any longer, those fibroids are coming out!!! Whooppeeeeee!!! Please feel free to personallly e-mail me if you have any concerns about the procedure. When will your resection take place? Did you ask Dr. G if there may be the possibility you will need more than one resection? Thank you for your inquiry about my ttc situation. I went last Saturday to have my blood drawn at my RE's office. He was actually there on the weekend at 7:00am if you can believe that! He called me that afternoon with the results.. no, I was not pregnant. He suspected the reason I was so late was because I either ovulated late that month or not at all. He suggested I should wait five more days and if I did not get my period during that time to come in for a progesterone injection to speed up the beginning of my next cycle's process. Well, yesterday morning my period started... 8 days late. I have never been late before, usually early, even when I have been really stressed out before. So my DH and I were pretty sure I was pg. The home test said negative, it was right after all. Well, I'm sure glad the period came along when it did. I will be getting on a plane this Sunday for my vacation next week, and I didn't want to be flying or in a car on vacation with my period. I'm not too discouraged by this negative pg result because it's only been four months since I stopped the pill. My poor lone ovary is doing the best she can. That sole egg we are waiting for will soon arrive to be acquainted with her " partner in fertility crime. " The only thing that really saddened me was the fact that I was not able to share the " good news " (of being pg) with both my mom and my mother-in-law this MOther's Day. That would have been very special. But I know when the time does come, it will be much more special than I can ever imagine! Good luck with your surgery my dear. Please keep in touch and let us all know how you are doing. We are praying for you! May the angels rest on both your shoulders today and throughout the rest of your fibroid journey! Blessings, :Sonja
