Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm so glad I found this board. Anyway, I've been trying to do a lot of research and have found that each doctors expertise in this area will determine the type of surgery they suggest. I'm told my fibroid is about 5.6cm on the inside anterior wall of my uterus. I was reading and saw that at times a procedure called Hysterscope (spelling) could be performed. This is where they put a scope through your cervix and can take the fibroid out that way. Has everyone on the board had abdomen surgery to take out their fibroid or have you had other procedures that have taken them out? Just trying to get as much info as I can. I'm meeting the specialist referred to me this coming Friday. For those of you have had surgery what types of questions should I be asking at this consultation? I've only had one surgery and it was emergency c-section no time for questions. TIA, Pam
