Guest guest Posted March 12, 2004 Report Share Posted March 12, 2004 Hi. I'm 28 and I have been diagnosed with fibroids by my gyno, who referred me to an on/gyn. My appt is next Thurs. I am nervous. I have no problems with the fibroids (except increase cramping during my period, I think) but the gyno told me my uterus is the size of a canteloupe due to the 3 fibroids. I want to know other people's experiences. Do you think I will have to get a hysterectomy? What are the risks of injuring the uterus by just removing the fibroids? Any help I would appreciate.
