I am thinking back to the fragility of the brown pelican eggs from all that DDT in the 1960's and how we almost lost a species to a pesticide. They made a comeback after we outlawed the use of pesticides in the USA. We just shipped it our DDT to third world countries, where they continue to use it plentifully.
