I'm now just over 7 weeks post-myo & I went yesterday to see my gynae

for post-op check. I asked him what I can/can't now do in terms of

exercise & lifting & he said I can do what I want now, even go for a

jog!! I can't help feeling he was being a bit blase- surely it would

be unwise to do any heavy lifting or rigorous exercise just yet? I

was going to re-join my gym this week, as I'd put my membership on

hold for a while, but I was going to just stick to gentle exercise

classes at first like pilates and yoga. I'd like to go swimming but

I'm wondering if it might be a bit early just yet. I would appreciate

some advice from any post-op experts.
