Guest guest Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 Carol, Another patient of Dr. Glassner's informed me that he did not recommend Lupron prior to surgery. Some physicians feel the Lupron makes " mush " of the fibroid by decreasing its size and makes it more difficult to visualize and remove the fibroid during surgery. Also, for me the Lurpon totally decreased my sex drive. It is a hormone drug and it does just that-decreases your estrogen and decreases your sex drive.
