Guest guest
Dear Aztek, My gyn told me over a yr ago when the bleeding started to get really bad, that even if they removed the fibroids I might still bleed like this due to hormonal changes (I'm 50) I know at least 3 other women who have had surgery that was successful technically, but did not relieve symptoms. I have been avoiding surgery and trying to make it to menopause for this reason. If your main symptom is bleeding, like mine is, alot depends on whether or not you can keep your bloodcount in ck...but I have just made an appt with an endocrinologist to look into hormonal imbalances that my gyn may have missed. Good luck d Advice - your symptoms and....Argghh! It's almost half a year since my abdominal myomectomy and I find that I still have the same symptoms. This would suggest that there is some problem that still hasn't been found and fixed. Maybe it's the little fibroids they left in me, or maybe it's something else. You can imagine how this makes me feel.
