Guest guest
Thank you for sharing your myo experience with us. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I have a question. What is a water infection? I never heard of that. I would be interested in knowing as I am scheduled for a myo next month. Thank you. Marisa

Guest guest
> Hi Rosha All my best wishes to you for a speedy recovery. I had my myo on 5/10. I had 3 fibroids (17x10x15cm, 8x6.5 cm and 8.5x10 cm), so I had an abdominal myo too. I also lost some blood and did have a transfusion. I took 2-3 doses of iron (slow-fe) for the first four weeks following the surgery and my doctor told me I can take one now, for one more month. I just started using vitamin e on my incision, but I won't know how it works for a while, and I'm not sure about the green stools (I didn't have that either). As far as exercise, I started walking, very slowly, to my mailbox (it's not too far, but took me about 15 minutes or so to walk back and forth) on the 8th day after my surgery. Now I'm going to my gym and walking about 1/2 hour (I think I started doing that about the third week). I haven't been able to do much more than that yet, but can walk faster now. I think everyone is different, though. So, listen to your body and do don't overdo. All the best to you.
