Leonie,

Yes, I was told to watch and wait, but I did ask my gyno that

very question, wait for what? What are the warning signs? He said

that if I soak a super tampon in 1 hour, (forgot if it was for a

day or 2) then thats a sign that we need to think about obtions.

He was right, and I let it go for a bit but then I had a

hemmoraging incident that forced me into immediate research while we

were watching and waiting. He said it may or may not happen again.

To make a long story short, I had a UFE about 1 month ago and am

feeling fine at this time. But, I will say that I loved my gyno's

approach, conservative, and letting me be the judge of when I need

to do something, and not pushing me into his ideas or putting a

timeline on this. I made the timeline myself, just going through 4

months of on and off gushing and bleeding.

I think women need to ask questions and be informed so that they

know what to look for and how they feel. So many women are simply

led by their gyno's. Some aren't even displaying severe symtoms and

are being told to just go ahead and do something.

Women have a choice to ask questions, do their own research and

make the descision that is the best for them, when they are ready.
