Guest guest
Hi, I finally got to my computer to send my post about my fibroids. I am suffering from heavy bleeding and I am dibilitated because whenever I get up and do my house work or travel to anywhere (even if it is for five mins) I bleed and pass huge clots. The only way I can slow or stop the bleeding for a few days is by sitting down doing nothing. This has been going on for two weeks now. I finally got an ultrasound and the doctor told me that I have a huge fibroid that is blocking my endometrial canal and that is what is causing the bleeding and that if I do not want to have any more children then the best thing for me to doo is to have a hysterectomy. I really do not want to have one. My sister has had one and she says it has recked her life but she just could not take it anymore. I have another sister that says do not do it she went in for a myo and she is fine now. She just gave birth last june to a healthy baby boy at 39 yrs old. I am scared of a hysterectomy because for years my husband has wanted a daughter. My son is about to turn 21 in April and for some reason since they are talking about a hysterectomy I now want to have a child. If anyone has come the this stage with fibroids and has had to address it. Tell me about there experiences. I will welcome it. Am I crazy or just going thru perimenopausal symptoms?
