Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am now 3 and 1/2 weeks post myo. I have a couple of questions. One is that it feels like there is a big lead ball sitting inside of me. I guess this is probably the swelling? I am not in pain very much anymore, it is minimal and I feel great. It is this pressure feeling inside that I am wondering about. Has anyone else experienced it? I have dreams at night that I am pregnant with a big lead baby and don't know if I can make it through 9 months of that (ha ha). The other thing I wanted to ask about it adhesions...how do you prevent them and what is your experience with them? I wrote awhile ago but didn't get a response. My doctor did not use the " paper " to wrap my uterus in after surgery. Maybe it doesn't matter. I just don't want problems in the future. Third question...the next menstral cycle, does it come on time? Is it painful because of swelling? I am due this week, I had my period going into surgery. In the past they have been painful and long. Anyone with any experience on these topics willing to share would be greatly appreciated. THanks, Debby

I guess this is probably the swelling? Hi Debby I am 11 days post-myo and especially at night my abdomen feels swollen, tender and bloated. Is this similar to what you are feeling? Guest guest
Hi Sue, Yes, I do believe I feel it more at night. It feels very heavy in there. I assume it will eventually go away.
