I did talk to the gyn and he said it was no problem to do another 3 weeks or even just 1 or 2 of the b/c pills to get a period later. He said I shouldn't do this with regularity, but once in a while is just fine. This puts my mind at ease and then I won't have to worry about having a period on a huge cruise ship. Take care.
