Guest guest
Annette: & All Others Interested: See my post #43633 – My Newbie Advice - sums up most of my feelings that need sharing with newbies & no time today to repeat it all – so I’m referring you to what’s already available. (go to “Messages” and then plug in the “43633” in the Msg # box) -- AND You can get the messages in “digest” form rather than individually (a whole batch of ‘em in one e-mail) – or just read them on-line if the individual e-mails overwhelm you. Before you consider hysterectomy, be sure you read Carla’s book “Sex, Lies and the Truth About Uterine Fibroids . . .” – and Plourde’s book “Your Guide To Hysterectomy and Ovary Removal What All Women Need to Know . .. .” – and there are lots more I could recommend – but AT LEAST start out with these. There are lots of reasons to try to avoid hysterectomy & many of the “reasons” docs give for having one are what I call “old doctor’s tales.” – The uterus is a LOT more than a baby container. On reasons for trying to avoid hyst see messages 13911, and 38858 – and other messages reference in that one.
