Guest guest
Hello Jeanne, Yes, your bleeding is normal. You may want to call and leave your doctor a message that you are continueing to bleed. It is important that you are NOt bleeding during a resection surgery. Bleeding makes it more difficult for your surgeon to see your fibroids. Your doctor may request one more dose of Lupron. There may not be enough time to put you onto bc pills before the surgery to stop your bleeding. I took continuous bc pills throughout the four months it took my doctor to complete all three of my resection surgeries. I know Lupron is crappy. The side effects are not so pleasant, but one more month of it to make sure your surgery goes well may be worth it. Does your insurance cover one more injection? Make sure you call and leave a message for your doctor. Ask to speak to the attending RN so that the message is written down correctly. The RN may also give you some suggestions on what to do. I don't know about the other medications you mentioned. Ask the RN about these. Good luck my dear. Hope your surgery goes well and your fibroids are removed leaving you with a healthy body! :)Sonja
