Anyone have experience with the neurotransmitter test?

I have the urine test kit from the dan dr.'s office and it says to give the

urine from 2 hrs after rising, not the first urine, which is when he gets

his adderall xr in the morning, plus they said ok to give him his adderal, I

was wondering if anyone agrees with giving the adderall xr or should we just

delay the adderal until after the urine?

This throws off his day, this also is a hard thing to do as his bus comes at

that time, so his adderal won't have kicked in, probably causing a write up

from the inpatient driver and matron...and possibly triggering to his

homeroom class..

I can wait til saturday if necessary, I'm just bursting to get this in. It

is around $200., is that normal too?

I can't blow this test as I know I won't be able to pay for it again so I

HAVE to do it the best way, any suggestions highly appreciated!

Carol,

I believe the test kit says to do the second urine of the day, not

necessarily exactly 2 hours after the first. Don't stress yourself out or

him. Wait until the weekend if it will make it easier on him and you.

I checked it just to be sure as I have 4 different kits (2 from Doctor's

Data and the other 2 from NeuroScience Inc. are these both reputable

companies?)

, it says 2-4 hours on the neuroscreen, but that probably will be the second

urine of the day anyway so I think it works out either way. I know you're

right I probably should wait til the w/e for that test as I am getting

overwhelmed with all the tests.

I can't do the mercury test b/c they still haven't sent the DMSA so I was

hoping to get this one out there...OH what was your opinion on the meds?

Do you think I should hold off the Adderall after I collect his second

urine?

We just did this as well. My kit says inbetween 9 and 11 am and

before supplements. I just went up to school and got him to pee in a

cup for me. I wanted to mail it during the week because I was suspose

to freeze it before mailing it. Jennie
