Guest guest Posted May 7, 2004 Report Share Posted May 7, 2004 I am all for watchful waiting with fibroids however sometimes my symptoms scare me into thinking I'm ignoring a serious condition. I presented my RE with information (from this site and medscape) about mri and blood tests assisting in detection of cancer. He was enthusiastic. Here are my questions Has anyone had this done? With a rookie or experienced physician? He wants to use " last " years mri and a new blood test. That bothers me. I am not sure about being his 1st either! I live in Chicago and need input from anyone who has undergone this. I am willing to travel for an accurate testing procedure if I conclude my doctor cannot provide it.
