The idea of surgery IS very scary. I lived for over 40 years and was never in the hospital and then had to have 2 surgeries within 6 months - for totally different things, and everything went well. I was a nervous wreck before the first one. I frankly couldn't wait to have my resection, and only had to dealy it to bring my iron counts up. I hope that you will be feeling better anon. If you are going to the meetup, I hope to meet you this weekend, along with other LOL...
