Guest guest
I am still waiting my ultrasound after being diagnosed with grapefruit sized fibroid 3 weeks ago. My sonogram is Wednesday. My doctor discovered the fibroid upon pelvic examination. I had had an ultrasound 3 years earlier and was diagnosed with a smaller fibroid near my cervix at that time. My question is: My pelvic exam was 5 days prior to my period in which my uterus enlarges and I retain a lot of water. My ultrasound is going to be within 1 week of my period as well. Do fibroids grow prior to your period and reduce in size as well. I have been tracking symptoms and I find that my need to pee is minimal 2 weeks after my period. Could my fibroid be a grapefruit near my period and an orange at other times of the month?
