I have never posted to this list until today, but have been relying on it for almost 3 months now. I had a myomectomy on January 21, 2004, and have checked into this list every day during my recovery. Each time I had a question or concern, I found it already addressed in your discussions. Sublime or ridiculous, you people had all the answers: Will my cat jump on my belly and bust my stitches? When can I take a shower? Go to yoga class? Have sex? Will it hurt when I laugh? Sneeze? Do the laundry? You are absolutely wonderful and endlessly reassuring! My recovery has been normal and problem-free, I've been back at work for several weeks, and I feel very close to having all my pre- surgical energy back. Thanks again for helping me along the road.
