Can you explain this?

I know I crave and chew on ice due to anemia/heavy bleeding from fibroids,

Hi,

Some women here have gotten their heavy bleeding to slow by putting ice packs on

their abdomen. This is what I mean. This could help you.

Are you taking Slow FE (slow release) iron and vitamin C for your anemia?

Craving ice is a symptom for sure. Make sure you stay on top of this. It's very

dangerous.

Hi,

It's a symptom of anemia, possibly severe anemia. You need to get this checked

ASAP. You need to take Slow FE (slow release) iron and vitamin C (for

absorbtion). You can buy Slow FE iron at Walmart, K-mart, Target (Sam's Club is

cheapest). Once your anemia reaches a certain point, eating iron rich foods is

not enough to get your counts up. It can take a year to get your stores

replenished fully. So this takes time. You will feel better much sooner than

this. If you are very severe they can do a iron infusion to get your counts up

quickly.

Anemia is dangerous. It can kill or damage your organs. I and many others here

have ended up in the ER over it. I was told I could have died from it. So keep

on top of this. It's preventable and much too often overlooked.
