Hi all,

I had a very successful open myo on 5/3, may write more about it

in near future.

Right now, I'm on my 6th day straight of insomnia, sleeping about

4 hours per night/day. This is scaring me. Have been trying herbal

and prescriptive remedies with little affect. I believe cause is

mainly emotional [MAJOR family conflict this past weekend, and,

well, major surgery] combined with a sudden lack of exercize--I used

to do cardio daily.

If this sounds similar to your post-op experience and you

successful in finding relief, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send your secret!

Please, please write me directly at: tygerstar35@...

Hi ,

I had a hard time sleeping after my myo too, which seems strange given how much

recovery and work your body is doing. I think I was uncomfortable and it was

hard to move around in bed. I also exercised daily before my surgery, so maybe

it was the lack of activity.

The one thing that has given me more relief than anything is acupuncture. I have

been getting treated once a week since my procedure and I always sleep great the

couple days after. My acupuncturist also reccomended a natural sleep aid called

Sound Sleep, although I haven't tried it.

Hope some of this helps.

Sweet Dreams!

Hi ,

Are you feeling better, that is have you recovered and are you sleeping? This

information is a bit late but a friend of mine said she drank camille tea ( a

lot of it) before bedtime - it seemed to help her. I hope it helps you too.

Best regards
