Hi Sue,

I can really relate to your experience!

I do have a past history of panic attacks, but haven't had one in

years. In my second post-myo week, my DH had to go away on business

and I was alone. All of a sudden, out of the blue- panic attacks!

They really are horrible; I'd forgotten how awful they are.

They occured on and off for several days, and now seem to have ended.

I think major suregery really takes a toll on every bit of us, body,

mind and emotions.

Hope you're feeling much better now!

-Mindy

I would highly recommend that any of you having a myo

who live alone to have a relative or friend to stay with you for about

2 weeks post-myo.

Oh Sue,

So sorry to hear you continue to have problems post-myo. First the

pains, the urinary infection, trouble sleeping etc, then

hyperventilation? I do hope you feel better soon though, and do make

sure there's someone checking on you at least once a day if you're

scared of having another attack again (hopefully not!).

Chie

So luckily it turned out to be hyperventilation but it was one of the most

frightening experiences of my life.

spoke withe Dr. Levine? Why do you think the nights are the hardest?

Again, I am so sorry. I hope things get better for you soon? Do you

have a relaxation tape?
