Guest guest
To : As you have read here, there are plenty of us who have been diagnosed with fibroids in our twenties; some have even had their Dx in their teen years. I had my first ab myo at age 26 and had lived with severely symptomatic fibroids for over four years prior to the surgery. Then last year I had three resection procedures after I turned 30 and am now symptom-free! My doctor tells me I will continue to keep growing them, but hopefully will have many years without the dibilitating problems from the last batch. I am currently trying for a pregnancy (our first) which is something my DH and I never thought was possible after all my horrible uterine problems. You have found a great group of women and men that can support your feelings, give you knowledge, and direct you toward great healthcare. I did not have this group while I was going through the worst of it, but am so thankful I found it now. I have learned how to become a better patient as well as a woman who can help others who are just beginning their journey with firbroids. Please feel free to ask any questions relating to your uterine health here in this forum. We are listening! Good luck to you my dear. My best, :)Sonja
