Guest guest
< > I had an u/s (one of many in the last few years) yesterday and for the first time I realized I could ask for a preliminary report (you will have to wait about 15 minutes while the radiologist fills it out) - ostensibly for my doctor but really I wanted it and plan to keep it. The report was fairly detailed and gave me lots of info I didn't previously have. Now I have all the proper measurements of my fibroids and endometriomas with a comparative to my previous u/s. And I insisted that my kidneys be checked too - I have mild hydronephrosis in the left one - and that's new to me. Moral here is - if you don't ask, you don't get.
