Just had Myo on Friday...crossing my fingers.

After months of hormone therapy and a hysteroscope/D&C in March, I finally

had a fibroid removed via hysteroscopy on Friday. I am praying that this

finally solves my bleeding problem. The Gyn who did my Myo seemed

optimistic that I'll return to normal.

I've been bleeding consistently since last October. I was prescribed

Megestrol (progesterone, 40mg/day) to slow the bleeding after my D&C in

March. My Gyn had me switch back to my regular bcp's (Micronor) 2 weeks

after the last surgery, and the bleeding returned...so I was put back on the

Megestrol until I could schedule a Myo. I've gained 10 lbs. while on the

medication...ugh! I'm looking forward to *finally* getting back to a normal

exercise routine and losing the weight.

For those who have had Myo's...how long did it take before the bleeding/

spotting stopped? Did you have a normal period the next month?
