Guest guest
Good Morning Kim, I know how you feel. Being pregnant is when I found out that I had a fibroid not a history before pregnancy. But I freaked out. I knew nothing about them, never heard about them before. Well, mine grew with my pregnancy till about the 3rd trimester - HUGE That was really weird for me to grasp. I also was really worried all the time. My gyn/ob always checked it to make sure it was not harming the placenta or baby but it was scary all the time not knowing...She also put those restriction on me.Then there was always the possibility of needing surgery while pregnant or having a c-section. Had a baby boy with out complications but like I said it was always a big part of the pregnancy. My second pregnancy was also without compl. except for high blood pressure but again it was always at the back of mind that there could be complications because of the fibroid. I don't post much here either, I have not really had any problems with my fibroid - it's just sitting there. I feel the group is very informed and it is a relief to know that when or ever I will need some answers or support I will get here! It's a comfort to know that other people do have them and that I am not the only one. I do hope this has eased your mind a little... Good luck and I wish you and baby a healthy pregnancy.
