DMSA --- extended round ---

I usually do rounds that last 3 days with ALA 25mg + DMSA 25mg every

3 hours. At the end of the round I get really tired and sometimes a

terrible headache. So I decided to try extending the round for a day

taking only DMSA 50mg every 4 hours for that 4th day.

I don't want to reinvent the wheel since the protocol works fine.

However I found this is helpful in reducing side effects at the end

of the round and I'd like to know if this is a good practice or will

I run into trouble doing this?

I would also like to know what happens to the body chemistry when I

prolong the round for a day with a double (or same) dose of DMSA and

no ALA. I would appreciate suggestions to help smooth the end of a

round.

Many on the list do a final dosing with DMSA only to " mop " up and say they find

it helpful.

We do this with my son as well and it seems to help ease him a little. We

just do the last two doses of DMSA.
