It depends on your weight. I researched this quite a bit before my

UFE. I was totally freaked out also. My IR said that for me, being

115pds, 5'3 " it would be equivilant to a half of a cat scan. Now,

I don't know how that compares to 2 barium enemas. all I can say is

that people have to get these cat scans and barium enamas all the

time so it is not any where near dangerous levels. Every

procedure has it's risks and in my opinion, UFE has got such little

risks, is much less invasive than myo or hysto.
