Guest guest
, I haven't been able to lay on my stomach for years! Feels like I'm laying on a ball. Had to get used to sleeping on my side. I am going to have a myo soon, and hopefully I'll get to go back to my favorite sleeping position as well. Good luck to you, and congratulations on the birth of your twins! Guest guest
Hi All! Curious if anyone else is unable to lie on their stomach due to their lovely protruding fibroid??? I am 11 weeks post c-sect (had some REALLY stinkin' cute twins! ) and my Gigantor 'Roid (intramural in the fundus), though it has shrunk some, is still causing quite a bit of belly distention. My uterus is still quite large and I am bleeding lots, but I am desperate to try to tighten up my abdomen ----- at least the parts that were stretched due to carrying the babies! It is near impossible for my to lay on my stomach --- it is the weirdest sensation. I discovered this while trying to do Pilates - which was recommended by my OB to tighten up my abdominal wall. Sooooo, who's got the magic belly tightening/excersing/get-me-to- stop-looking-6-months-preggo-with-twins answer????? I'll settle for being able to lay on my belly ----- my favorite sleeping postion. Side note: My OB wants to wait until July to see if the invader and uterus will shrink down as the preggo hormones decrease. Who was it that said, " the wayyyyiting is the harrr-dest part . . . " Thanks for any input you fabulous ladies provide! My best,
Guest guest
I am also unable to lie on my stomach, and if I happen to roll there during the night I wake up from the pain/pressure and then have to go to the bathroom because my bladder feels ready to pop. That used to be my favorite sleeping position though. Another problem I am having is pants don't fit because of my bulging belly. I got some that are larger size but then the legs and thighs are too big and rub too much. Short of spending money to taylor them or wearing maternity pants I don't know what to do. I work in an office, so I can't wear the things I am most comfortable in like sweats or pj pants.
