Somebody (I don't recall who) asked me days ago for more info about my experience with Dr. West. I have posted a lot about it, especially at the time it happened. My surgery was on June 3, 2003 and I posted a lot the week before and during the month post-surgery. You should be able to find it in the archives. Also, you can go to his website, www.repmed.com. He hosts chat groups about once a month where anybody can log on and ask him about fibroids and surgery. Many women have found these very helpful. I will say that I was totally happy with everything about him; his professional, supportive, caring demeanor and his excellent surgery and follow-up. And while I have memories of him saying that he used something 'like crazy glue', it was NOT actual crazy glue. He just was saying that he was not using stitiches or staples, but a strong adhesive.
