Recovery after myo op - Belly size no change

Hello,

I had my myo op in April 2004, removing a posterior 11.5cm x 8.8cm x

6.1cm fibroid successfully. Now it is more than a month and half

passed. I did not notice that my belly size is decreased. The doctor

told me that my uterus should become normal after 4-6 weeks. I do

not feel the hard lump around my uterus any more by touching the

belly. But I was wondering why the belly is still quite big. Can

somebody tell me if it is normal?
