Guest guest
SUSAN--I am really glad that you are doing well and I thank you for updating us. I am glad that the teething ring worked. You seem to have dealt with the thirst issue very well. I think that the reason that the fibrouds are smaller on removal is that they are not filled with blood anymore, and when they are in your body they are often blown up by blood. Funny, although I had some complications after surgery, I never had any gas problems at all. I was told that I already had bowel sounds when I was in the recovery room, which was a good thing???? I guess it was good since I never had gas pains or any gas problems. My recovery has been slow, as many of you know. The problem is that for 3 months I have felt like I just did about 1000 situps--a constant soreness over the area. I recently purchased an abdominal binder (goes around waist) and it helps a lot. For example, I get into and out of the car much more easily with it on. I hope it will help me to be able to increase activity as it has already been 3 months. I do everything in terms of daily activities and work but I do not exercise yet, mainly because I am still anemic and because I am tired of feeling sore and I know that returning to exercise will cause more soreness at first.
