5 months post UAE and pleased

Hi Ladies,

I haven't posted my progress for a while. I'm posting here and on the

embo board. I am now 5 months post UAE

and doing well. I have had a few strange things happen. I had a

brownish pasty discharge at about 3 months post but it stopped. And I

skipped a period for 2 months. I have passed some tissue a couple of

times that I hope was the fibroid degenerating. And I have an

occasional sharp pain in the left lower quadrant of my abdomen.

I did have a period this month that was " Normal " . 2 heavy days but,

thank God, no gushing or clotting since the UAE.

I took 3 weeks off from work after the UAE which is longer than most

of the ladies of this list but I figured out that I wasn't only

recovering from the UAE but also from the anemia. I was bleeding so

heavily before the UAE that my hemoglobin was down to 8.4 at one time.

So the tiredness and complete lack of energy was a combination of the

two. I wonder if the ladies who had heavy bleeding also felt this way???

I am full of energy now and back to my regular exercise routine.

I am still sleeping through the night and not going to the bathroom at

work so often either. I have finally let go of having pads,tampons

and a change of clothing everywhere I go " just in case " .

I am still pleased with the decision to have UAE.

I go for my 6 month ultrasound at the end of the month.
