Guest guest
I think the most important things are not to compare yourself with others, and to listen to your own body, which you seem to know well. I had abdominal surgery too, and even without the extra complications you are having, it was several months before I felt " normal " . I went back to work (I have a sedentary job) part time after about 4 weeks, but I could really not function very well. It's not just the physical trauma that surgery entails. There's also an incredible MENTAL drain from the stress and that impacts your energy level.. Don't rush your recovery. Do as much exercise as you can, because that really does help. Don't let any one else tell you how you " should " feel. best wishes, S >
