Guest guest
Hi Janet, I think me too I should have some anomaly in my uterus. Many days ago I wrote my experience asking for advises to this group but nobody gave a feed back, BUT i understand it is not a commun issue. I have a big fibroid of 11cm now, intramural one, 37 yo, thanks god periods not so heavy, just the second day, I was order by my gyn to go and see a fertility specilist. I went with him and he started saying me he wanted to know if my tubes were blocked, so he perform to me an internal ultrasound, dont remember exactly the name but is a kind of histero something, but he only saw one of my tubes,...and I had lot of pain while the test as he was searching and he couldnot see on the monitor. So doctor told me I can not give you a result, as I dont see clear...as the fibroids dont let me to access the other tubes with the liquid of contrast. Any way he sent me to pass an hysterosalpingography which seems to be the best choice in this cases. Less painful than the first test, incredible..I already passed it.. BUT I went out all confused as the doctor(lady) who perform it..starting doing that way and he told me NO WE HAVE TO DO THIS OTHER WAY because if not you will have to pass a third test. I have to put inside of you a balloon and a cateter,..so she started with the speculum and everything once again, and then she started to insert inside my uterus de iod liquid,..and she had to use 4 shots, SHE WAS REALLY IMPRESSED and I she comments like that, imagine that I usually use just one per patient, maximum morte than one and with you I am reaching the four and I can not see still your tubes, only after the fourth she saw one tube and said..ohh is there..and I asked and the other one and she was never clear, she only said..it will seen on the x-rays..but I ask her but why is like that? and she told me because your are done like that...which really worry me, as saying is anormal or something,..and then she adds..some peoples are like that and I told her..it is because the fibroid? then she told me probably...but not very convinced..so I run and ask to the group if anyone had some uterus like that. I dont know exactly janet so far, my appointment with my doctor is on the 5th of may...so I will let you know by then..finally..THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE..I will keep in touch with you regarding this matter. Sorry for the long email. Regards
