I was diagnosed with a 10 cm fundal fibroid and told by my gyn that my only option is...you guessed it..... a hysterectomy (and she told me she would have to make a huge incision going way, way above my naval!). Thanks to finding this group, I now know better. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my Dr. to get a referral to a new gyn - and let me tell you she is getting a whole new patient thanks to this group. I feel so much more informed and ready to tackle the " you must have a hysterectomy " statement. I don't have any questions for the lol since you have all taught me so much already. But if there any other ladies out there from Nova Scotia, Canada, please let me know. Maybe we can help each other find a good surgeon.
