Hi,

You are not in this boat alone, if this helps to know. Fibroids cost me alot

too. I missed time with my Mom before she died. I spent time with Mom but not as

much as I wanted too. This hurts the most. I had to leave the hospital because I

was pouring blood more than once. Not too long ago, I heard a family member say

something about me not being with Mom enough and I was livid. How do you go to

someone's house when blood is pouring out of you? When you're so weak from

anemia, you can barely walk? I heard about the anemia too. One tiny pill cures

it, must be a magic pill. You can explain it till you're blue and they don't get

it. They never got the " fibroid " or " anemia " not even when the ER doc said I

could die.

For something so common, I never heard of it before I was told about my

fibroids. So nobody understands. It needs to be talked about. It isn't being

talked about. It's like a big secret.

I think if you are a bad bleeder with fibroids, you lose so much.

I feel for your losses. Do you have a school conseler that can help you. Mine

worked wonders for me once. What exactly do you need to do to prove you can do

graduate work? Don't give up your dream. Use it to make you strong. Think of

this as a delay.

I did the same thing as you - no bleeding, terrible pain. Bleeding - no pain. I

think the bleeding releaves pressure. I had walking problems too.

Are you keeping up with anemia? See it as very dangerous! A lot of people poo

poo it. It's dangerous! Keep on top of it.

I'll send you some prayers and will be thinking of you.

When I get to a brick wall I get out my dynamite....or my pitons...right

now you are discouraged but with intent and focus you can move forward.

I too felt in the past that I should have been with my dying father in

one hosp while my son was dying in another...somehow I think the people

we love would have understood and blessed us and loved us anyway...for

the intention in our hearts, and so I do not feel guilty. It is easy to

pass judgement from the outside. We all do the best we can. Do not be

discouraged e...just step back, rest, and explore.
