Guest guest Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 Judith, Yes, early onset that was one of my symptoms and still have it today and that was 15 years ago. Fingers seem to have a mind of their own and my right leg will jump but there is also a kind of electric shock that comes along with it. It comes after lying down at night, I guess when I get comfortable it decides to jump....................Flora Quote

Guest guest Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 I have had that for a while now. And early last year, my hand would do a complete dance in the early hours of the morning. That was really freaky when it first started!! Guest guest Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 Flora, I have had the electric shock and jerking leg also, right more than left (although not so much lately, whatever that means)and when I told a neuro last April he looked at me like I was crazy and just shrugged. I don't go to him anymore! Thanks! Mollie --- belgium46@... wrote: > Judith, Yes, early onset that was one of my symptoms > and still have it today > and that was 15 years ago. Guest guest Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 Mollie, yes some neurologist do think we're all a bit off. Like we don't know what are bodies are doing. we know more here then most of them do. I only had to go though two to get to my doctor and he believes what I say about ME......... you just have to find one that specializes in motor neuron disorders. Flora Quote
Guest guest Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 hey everyone, i also have the limb jerking pretty much every day, esp. the legs and fingers. the jerking used to really startle me but i'm so used to it now. like you all have said, when i lay down at night or for a nap and first thing in the morning is when they typically happen. sarah --- Mollie Inman mollieinman@...> wrote: > Flora, > > I have had the electric shock and jerking leg also, > right more than left (although not so much lately, > whatever that means)and when I told a neuro last > April > he looked at me like I was crazy and just shrugged. > I > don't go to him anymore! > > Thanks! > Mollie > > --- belgium46@... wrote: > > > Judith, Yes, early onset that was one of my > symptoms > > and still have it today > > and that was 15 years ago.
