Guest guest Posted February 25, 2004 Report Share Posted February 25, 2004 I had my embolization 2 years ago, and always said that I'd update you all on what is happening. My fibroid was 11x11, size of a babies head, I bled for 15 days (extremely heavily) every single month for 4 years. I now have my period for less than 5 days a month, bleed very little, no heavy cramping (only very mild) So, If any of you out there are considering an embolization for your fibroid(s), I would strongly recomend it. My life has changed, I no longer schedule ANYTHING around my period. If anyone has any questions about the embolization, feel free to ask me, I will gladly give you any information that you need.
