I just had my myo 2 weeks ago. You probably have been reading some

of my entries. My myo was great with Dr. West and I went to work today and

yesterday for half days and did great. My uterus was also very large (above

navel and wall to wall fibroids). I did go to a very good IR. I was prepared

to

fly to philly to see Dr. Kirsch but he suggested that I go to this guy in

Miami..Dr. Eiserman Miami doc) was very nice and was willing to do a UFE but

not

eager. Because of the size of my fibroids and the vascularity there was a

significant chance that UFE might not work or embolize my ovarties. He was very

honest because as much as he wanted to do the procedure, he wanted it to be a

sucessful one. I also did not have significant symptoms and he had a concern

that the clotting UFE could produece for some months after might be

uncomfortable for me since I didnt have any unexpected bleeding. My husband and

I

deceided that unfortuneately Ufe was not positive enough for me in my situation.

You

have to weigh your deceisions. I do have a bikini line scar but I feel

great and I loved my doctor. My uterus was 21.3x14.0x12.0cm. Hope that helps.
