FATEHGARH SAHIB

FIBROID REMOVED: A team of doctors, led by Dr Jatinder Iqbal Saggu,

retired senior gynaecologist from the PGI removed a rare fibroid of 16

cm weighing approximately 4kg from uterus by performing hysterectomy

at Mahesh Hospital, Sirhind on Monday. According to Dr Saggu, patient

Jaspal Kaur, resident of Bhamarsi, had been having bleeding for the

past one year. The operation took three hours.
