Diagnosed w/Uterine Fibroids

Hi, i am new to the board and was just looking for some advice. I

was just diagnosed with fibroids and am scheduled to see a

specialist in Toronto. My ultrasound report stated the following:

-the uterus is slightly prominent in size, measuring 8.6 cm length x

3.7 x 5.8cm.

-endometrial thickness is above normal limitsat 1.6 cm, and it is

inhomogeneous.

-two dominant fibroids. One large one is at the right posterior

fundus, measuring 4.5x 3.7 x 4.6 cm. The second largest is at the

left lower uterine body, measuring 1.6 x 1.4 x 1.6 cm.

-both ovaries are of normal size and echogenicity.

Just looking for some answers or questions to ask the specialist.

Has anyone had anything similiar?
