My fibroid is imbedded in the uterine wall so, yes, if removed it will have to

be

done through the abdomen.

My fibroid is small and my uterus in not enlarged or misshapen. Could the

fibroid cause a very heavy tissue build-up in the uterus? I have been having

moderate cramps with the bleeding, especially over the last month. Wouldn't

this be a sign that the uterus is contracting?
